After about 50 to a maximum of 200 rounds, you should subject your silencer to thorough cleaning and preservation – ideally with the Fluna Silencer Cleaner Set.

1 / Fluna SDR Silencer Cleaner
Use Fluna SDR, the special cleaner and degreaser for all silencers, for the automatic cleaning of your supressor. Fluna SDR automatically cleans metal surfaces from powder smoke and all combustion residues. Simply apply the cleaning solution in the bottle included in the set, insert the silencer disassembled or unassembled and you will achieve the desired result after 30 minutes to two hours without any further effort.
2 / Lint-free microfiber cloth 40 x 40 cm
Clean accessible areas on the silencer after removing it from the Fluna SDR cleaning solution with the microfiber cloth included in the set. After use, it is best to wash the cloth in the washing machine at 60 °C without fabric softener.
3 / Bottle for silencer cleaning
The plastic bottle or sleeve is used to apply the cleaning solution by placing the silencer in it. After cleaning the silencer, wash it thoroughly with water, dry it with a cloth and leave the cover open until it is completely dry.

Tutorial Fluna SDR application
Dilute half of the concentrate in the empty PVC envelope with hot water in a ratio of 1:3 to obtain 500 ml of cleaning solution. If possible, disassemble the silencer and place it in the envelope with the cleaner mixture. Fluna SDR will now clean your silencer automatically – depending on the degree of contamination within 30 minutes up to two hours. Support the cleaning process by occasional light shaking.
The cleaning solution will take on a more intense black color; this indicates successful cleaning. Remove the silencer from the solution and clean accessible areas with the microfiber cloth.
Then rinse the Supressor vigorously with running water and loosen any dirt residues by tapping and shaking. Once dry, you can reassemble your silencer. Tip: Check the material compatibility before the first use !

WHY DOES A SILENCER NEED TO BE CLEANED AT ALL ?
Silencers have an internal structure of “metal combs” and various “metal nets” and numerous openings / holes for gas flow. A silencer functions best when these surfaces are free of deposits, which are formed by powder smoke and burnt residues with every shot fired. Furthermore, deposits from powder residues are extremely corrosive in combination with moisture and there is a danger that the powder smoke will eat into the metal and cause damage / weakening in the cross-sections. Therefore, make sure that your silencer is cleaned regularly and that it is always dismantled from the gun and dried after use.

Adhering powder smoke is very aggressive and triggers corrosion in a damp environment, which can severely damage the silencer.

The 250 ml concentrate contained in the set is sufficient for two applications. Dilute 125 ml – i.e. half the contents of the bottle – with clean water in a ratio of 1:3 to obtain the optimum cleaning result.
